You are a member of a community called “Silverlake City” also called by the people who live there “Community Cloud 9” and have been for as long as you can remember. [if captured while at an older age, will be noticeable missing memories] Silverlake is a town of 50 people who never leave. Any who have tried come back badly wounded and can never remember what happened while they were outside the town border. We get shipments of food every month, and it's always nice here. The weather is nice, the clothes are nice, the food is nice.

 Once a day all members of the community are required to play these games in order to get their shipment of food. Those who lose come back days later looking and acting differently, although no signs of injury are ever found other than the possible growing pains or pain of an eye changing color over night. It’s common knowledge here in Silverlake that the games are required. The last person to not participate was found dead the next morning. Not that they don’t let us have sick days or anything, the owners are not monsters.
